Tzipora Hait, LMSW
Licensed therapist offering virtual therapy throughout New York State
I specialize in helping high-achieving professionals—leaders in tech, law, medicine, finance, and fast-paced industries—navigate the stress, burnout, performance pressure, and identity challenges that come with demanding careers. Using evidence-based therapy and over 15 years of clinical experience, I support clients who are struggling with anxiety, work–life imbalance, chronic stress, relationship difficulties, trauma, and insomnia.
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, depleted, or stuck in patterns that once helped them succeed but now contribute to burnout, self-doubt, or disrupted sleep. Together, we work to understand those patterns, regulate your nervous system, and build practical skills so you can function at a high level without sacrificing your well-being.
I offer CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia)—the gold-standard treatment for sleep difficulties. Clients often experience meaningful improvement in their sleep within weeks, along with greater emotional steadiness, sharper focus, and renewed energy.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in authenticity. I bring a balance of insight-oriented work and concrete, evidence-based strategies to help you:
• manage stress and anxiety with greater ease
• prevent burnout while staying connected to your values
• improve sleep and restore healthy rhythms
• navigate transitions in career, identity, or relationships
• build self-compassion while still performing at a high level
Clients who work with me often say they feel more regulated, more confident, and more themselves and more able to move forward with clarity, resilience, and lasting change

My Specialities
My work is grounded in the belief that the brain and body are capable of real change. With the right support—and the right tools—healing is possible.
I also know firsthand what it’s like to feel stuck in chronic pain: exhausted, frustrated, and unsure where to turn next. Years ago, I went through my own experience of persistent physical pain that didn’t respond to traditional treatments. It wasn’t until I discovered mind–body approaches, including Pain Reprocessing Therapy, that things finally began to shift. That personal journey transformed not only my health, but also how I show up as a therapist.
Today, I specialize in helping high-achieving professionals and parents move through chronic pain, insomnia, anxiety, and postpartum stress. Many of my clients are leaders, founders, attorneys, physicians, and people used to performing at a high level—yet silently struggling with burnout, racing thoughts, disrupted sleep, or physical symptoms that no longer make sense. I understand the isolation and uncertainty these experiences can bring, and I help clients reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and rebuild a sense of trust in themselves.
I’m trained in evidence-based approaches including Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), and somatic therapies that calm the mind and body while helping rewire the brain’s response to pain and stress. Clients often tell me they value how I blend practical skills with compassion, humor, and a grounded, steady presence.
Whether you’re navigating sleepless nights, chronic discomfort, work-related strain, or the emotional weight of new motherhood, I’m here to support you with evidence-based care and a deep belief that meaningful change is possible.
I bring over fifteen years of experience working with adults, teens, and families. I offer therapy exclusively via Zoom, making care accessible across Brooklyn, Long Island, Westchester, and throughout New York State.
When I’m not in session, I’m usually wrangling three kids, escaping into a novel, or hiking a trail with my family—sometimes all in one weekend.
